Many infrared sauna companies were unable to weather the market crash in the late 2000's.  Some consolidated and sold and some had to simply close their doors for business.  This left many consumers in a tough position when their expensive infrared sauna needed repair or service.  At FixMySauna.com we only source parts directly from the original manufacture, which is generally not the same as who you originally ordered from, they are simply an importer and slapped their brand name on it.  Close to 90% of the infrared saunas bought are imported from overseas, if your salesman said different he wasn't being truthful.
